Biological characteristics
1. Lactobacillaceae, Lactiplantibacillus, Gram-positive , cells are rods, occurring in pairs or in short chains;
2. The optimum growth temperature is 30~35℃, can grow at 10℃, facultative anaerobic;
3. It can grow at a pH of 4.5-9.5, and the optimum pH is around 6.5;
4. Wide utilization of sugar sources, can ferment glucose, maltose, sucrose, L-sorbose, lactose, cellobiose, xylose, melibiose, fructose, etc. lactic acid production during fermentation without gas production; Facultative Heterolactic Fermentation.
